Demi Moore brought a stray cat to an exclusive dinner as her date.
The Hollywood star attended a Chanel party as part of the Art Basel event in Miami this week. Shortly before the meal began the actress noticed the kitten walking next to a swimming pool and so decided to bring it with her.
"The kitten sat on Demi's lap throughout the meal... She was cuddling and petting it," an insider laughed to New York Post.
After the meal, Demi ditched the feline and was spotted with her rumoured boyfriend, 26-year-old art dealer Vito Schnabel, at a party. Although they seemed all smiles while talking together, Vito later publicly insisted they are not an item.
Demi was seen sipping on energy drinks with other guests including Will Ferrell, Karlie Kloss, Pharrell Williams, Jeremy Piven and Lenny Kravitz.
She spent time pulling faces at photographers and dancing suggestively with friends, while Vito looked on.
"Vito and Demi didn't want to be pictured together," an insider claimed. "They want to keep their relationship as private as possible, and he is determined to be taken seriously in the art world rather than be known as a celebrity."
Demi, 50, seemingly struck up a friendship with George Clooney's girlfriend Stacy Keibler, who was present at the meal and party. The pair decided to continue their fun when the bash was over, going to a pop-up karaoke bar together at 1am.
"They sat with five guy friends and were dancing together," a source explained. "They were offered tequila shots, but Demi declined, saying, 'No shots,' while Stacy and her friends happily knocked them back. They left at around 3am and amazingly, said they wanted to go on to another club."
Demi spent time in rehab earlier this year after struggling to cope with her split from estranged husband Ashton Kutcher.
