Demi Moore has 'sheared off' her two front teeth
Actress Demi Moore blames stress as the cause of the recent loss of her two front teeth.
Demi Moore has "sheared off" her two front teeth and now wears cosmetic replacements.
The Ghost actress is known for her pearly white Hollywood smile, which she flashes whenever she hits the red carpet.
However, Demi has now revealed during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night (12Jun17) that she no longer has her own top front teeth.
"I sheared off my front teeth. I'd love to say it was skateboarding or something really kind of cool, but I think it's something that's important to share, because I think it's literally, probably after heart disease, one of the biggest killers in America, which is stress," she said. "Stress sheared off my front tooth. But, in an effort to get ready for you, I wanted to make sure my teeth were in."
Demi also displayed a photo of her missing one tooth to the audience, and explained that while she is missing "both" of her front teeth, "the picture is only minus one".
The 54-year-old added that she "literally knocked" one of her teeth out recently, and is very thankful for her dentist and modern dentistry as a whole for quickly fixing her smile.
And Demi also joked that her daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis, all "love" her gappy look.
"They love seeing me without my teeth," she said, adding, "Because they think it makes me look more vulnerable and more human."
Meanwhile, the star also took the time during her interview to chat about her name, sharing that she knows another famous Demi - Demi Lovato - though they say their first names differently.
"She's from Texas and I'm from New Mexico, so our families say our names the same but we each individually pronounce it differently," she said, noting she pronounces it "Deh-mee" while Lovato prefers "Dem-ee."
