Demi Moore 'planning comeback'
Demi Moore reportedly has grand plans to launch herself back into the limelight later this year.
The 51-year-old experienced some personal problems following the end of her marriage to Ashton Kutcher in 2011, resulting in her spending time in rehab. She also had some issues with her daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah but over the last six months she's worked hard to get things back on track. This has included retiring from the limelight a little, something which the star has reportedly found surprisingly beneficial.
"Demi is loving her new reclusive lifestyle because she realises how overexposed she was when she was with Ashton,” an insider told Radar. “Now there’s a real demand for her. She’s learning that female fans really identify with her and hate the way Ashton behaved. The public wants more - of Demi!
"Demi is insisting on laying low… [until] the fall. And she plans to re-emerge with a message."
The actress has been seen out a few times of late, including helping Michael Sheen celebrate his birthday in February. She also went to an Oscars after-party held by Madonna last month, although she didn't stay long.
Demi and Ashton split after he was accused of cheating on her and he is now thought to be engaged to Mila Kunis, with intense speculation she is pregnant. Demi apparently knows this is one of the reasons people are so keen to see her in public, but she is determined to keep them waiting.
"She is reinventing herself and that includes her look,” the source said.
“When she does re-enter public life, she is going to be ready to talk about her body and the issues she’s had with it over the years. Her new catchphrase is, ‘Be honest - about everything!’ It’s a new approach her fans are sure to love."
When the actress checked into rehab in 2012 it was reported she was seeking help for an eating disorder, although the rumours were never confirmed.
