Demi Moore takes Thanksgiving family trip

Demi Moore

Demi Moore is apparently spending Thanksgiving with her family.

America is celebrating the holiday today, which is traditionally a time to enjoy dinner with your nearest and dearest.

The 50-year-old actress is reportedly enjoying a quiet celebration with her daughters in Lake Tahoe.

"They thought it would be a good idea for her to get out of the city and spend some time as a family," a source told the New York Daily News.

The brunette star has three daughters - Rumer, Scout and Tallulah - from her marriage to Bruce Willis.

Demi has had a famously rocky relationship with them since she split with Ashton Kutcher a year ago. At one point it was alleged the girls were considering filing for a restraining order so they didn't have to see their mom.

"[She is] still harbouring a great deal of animosity towards him," the source continued.

However, it seems the actress and her kids will be putting their disagreements behind them and spending the holiday together.

Since splitting with Demi, Ashton has found love with gorgeous actress Mila Kunis.

It is unknown whether the pair will be spending the holiday together, but they were spotted taking a romantic vacation in Rome earlier this week.

Other stars have been updating their fans on their holiday fans via Twitter.

Milla Jovovich took to the social networking site to post her Thanksgiving dinner recipes. She also added: "My mother in law slaving over the dishes! Oh the life!" The model shared a picture of herself and daughter Ever. "Me and my baby," she wrote.
