Denzel Washington has revealed the secret to a happy Hollywood marriage.
"I do what she says!" the actor, who has been married to Pauletta Pearson for 17 years, joked.
The 55-year-old hit the red carpet in LA to help raise money for cancer care at the10th Annual Harold Pump Foundation Gala.
The evening's celebrations included Denzel being honoured for his work in film, alongside boxing legend Muhammad Ali who was being honoured for his sporting career.
Ahead of meeting the sporting superstar, Denzel said: "If somebody said to me 'hey are you willing to give up your career today for something you believe in?' you know, he's brave, that's why he's the king."
He added: "It's nice to be honoured, that's great, but the point is to get people in here to raise money."
"My wife's father passed away from cancer, some can give money, some can give time, it's whatever you can give," Denzel said.
