Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are reportedly "getting along well."
The 49-year-old actor recently split from Vanessa Paradis after 14 years of marriage. The pair share two children together, Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 10.
When Johnny and Vanessa reunited at their South of France mansion weeks ago, they appeared to be extremely warm with one another.
"They were both relieved they got along well," a source told Us Weekly magazine.
The pair went on an outing with the kids shortly thereafter to the neighbourhood Plan de la Tour market.
Witnesses say that Johnny, Vanessa and the family looked happy.
"[T]hey were joking around," local Sofia DeCout told the publication.
"At one point, Johnny held Vanessa's hand!"
Although it is rumoured that Johnny's alleged girlfriend Amber Heard broke off their relationship due to too much press, it's now thought that the pair are still dating.
No matter what the status of their romantic lives, Johnny and Vanessa are thought to be committed to being personable with one another.
"They are looking forward, not backward," an insider said.
