Johnny Depp and Amber Heard “do argue a lot” but have no plans to split, according to reports.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor married the 28-year-old in February this year. But on Monday it was alleged that the couple were heading for a split and were leading separate lives. However it has now been claimed that the while they do have a fiery relationship, the pair are still committed to their union.

“They've always been together," a source explained to E! News. "They travel for work then come home. They live together and are very much in love, despite what's being said about breakup rumours. They are very much in love with each other, but because of their strong personalities and opinions, they do argue a lot.”

The couple put on a united front as they arrived at Brisbane airport in Australia on Monday, holding hands as they made their way off their aircraft. It is the first time the 51-year-old and his new wife have been photographed together since their nuptials.

People magazine previously claimed that the actors had only spent a few days in each other’s company since tying the knot.

"It's not surprising that they haven't spent much time together, because they seemed to have a lot of relationship problems in the months leading up to the wedding," an insider told the outlet. "When the wedding finally happened in February, it had been postponed several times. ... Amber had her wedding dress for months before they settled on a wedding date."

However the article was later deleted from the magazine’s website.
