Dermot won't work with telly wife

Dermot O'Leary has said he'll never work with his other half.

The X Factor presenter, 41, has been been with film and TV producer Dee Koppang for 12 years and married for two.

They own a production company and a restaurant in Brighton together, but wouldn't want to join forces in the TV studio.

"We've a couple of joint ventures, but I don't think we could ever have a situation where she was directing me. It's husband and wife stuff, come on! I wouldn't go so far as to say she criticises me, but she's honest," he said.

"If she thinks I've not been good on a show I'll get silence, but she doesn't go so far as to offer advice!" he added. "But then I'd never tell her how to frame a shot."

Dermot, who has written a memoir, The Soundtrack To My Life, said that while Simon Cowell "beat him to it" when it came to fatherhood, he does wants to have kids.

"Yes, we definitely want a family - but it took us 10 years to get married, so we'll see what happens," he said.
