Dewan-Tatum: I have great karma
Jenna Dewan-Tatum says she "must have been a nun" in a past life.
The 32-year-old actress stars in US dramedy Witches of East End and admits fans may be jealous of the perks of her job, which included filming love scenes with Eric Winter, who plays her fiancé, and Daniel Di Tomasso, who plays his brother.
She confessed coming home to hunky husband Channing Tatum after a day's work made her feel like she'd won the lottery.
"It doesn't hurt that they cast the two hottest guys to play brothers. I guess Freya's predicament is pretty understandable," she told to Entertainment Tonight, joking, "I must have been a nun or something in a past life that gave me amazing karma in this life."
The star plays bartender Freya Beauchamp on the series, about a dysfunctional family of witches. She feels the role was made for her to find.
"As a kid, I was always drawn to the spiritual and supernatural side of life; thinking there was something bigger than us that's always around and can tap into every day. So I don't think it was any coincidence that this role came to me, it was kind of tailor-made for me," Jenna revealed.
"I read the script and all the elements were there: it was fun, had good character development, strong female voices, dysfunctional family dynamics, romance, funny situations and an interesting tone I've never seen on a show."
Jenna has a full home life as well. The actress and Channing welcomed their daughter Everly in May and she recently said she couldn't have gone back to work without his support.
"He is getting really good at being the set husband - that's what I call him," she told ET Canada last month.
"He's been amazing - every chance he gets he's here. He's like, 'I could sit here and be set husband all day long. This is so fun!'"
