Dick Van Dyke joined by TV co-stars

Dick Van Dyke has penned a book on his life

Dick Van Dyke was delighted to be reunited with his former Dick Van Dyke Show co-stars at a book signing in Hollywood.

The 85-year-old star of Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Diagnosis Murder greeted fans at Barnes And Noble in LA to sign copies of his memoir My Lucky Life In And Out Of Show Business, and was delighted to be joined by Rose Marie and Larry Matthews.

Dick told the crowd: "Woooo! Great to see ya. What a turnout. Guess who's here? See who that is - it's Rose Marie."

He added to the comedic actress: "You came to see me, you came!"

The singer, dancer and actor reveals all about his long career in showbusiness in the book, but he recently told how he has had to slow things down, turning down an offer to compete in dancing With The Stars.

Dick told TV blog PopEater: "They did ask me to do Dancing With The Stars. I said I can do one show but on that show you have to come up with a new number every week and I told them that I think I'm a little past that stage."
