Disick ‘leaves rehab after 12 hours’
Scott Disick supposedly left a posh drug treatment centre in Malibu after staying for just half a day.
The 31-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, who is the father of Kourtney Kardashian’s three children, confirmed on Monday he had checked himself into the Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica.
But apparently loved ones are concerned his stint at the Central American treatment facility will be very short, as it’s rumoured he checked out of a previous rehab in Malibu just half a day after checking in.
“This is Scott’s fourth trip to rehab,” a source told Radar Online. “The [Malibu] rehab featured private rooms for patients, spa treatments, and gourmet food. Despite the luxurious surroundings, Scott left after only twelve hours.
“At that point, Scott just didn’t believe he had a problem, and thought he didn’t need to be there.”
Scott confirmed to TMZ he would be doing the Iboga treatment in an attempt to get sober. This method uses roots from a small African tree and the herbal remedy is supposedly helpful for people who are battling with addiction.
It’s claimed doctors have been advising Scott to pursue more traditional forms of sobriety treatment, like attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. However, sources state Scott has completely ignored this advice.
“[His medical advisors told him] to go to a traditional rehab facility that wasn’t a spa, and go to Alcoholics/Narcotics Anonymous meetings,” the insider said. “Scott needs to be in rehab for at least 90 days. The fact he is boasting he will be back from rehab in a week is very, very concerning.”
