Dobrev the subject of split rumours

Nina Dobrev met Ian Somerhalder while filming The Vampire Diaries

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have sparked speculation that their relationship is on the rocks, with Ian flying solo to Obama's inauguration.

The couple - who met on the set of The Vampire Diaries - are usually joined at the hip, but they parted ways this week when Ian went to see the US president's inauguration ceremony, and left Nina behind.

Ian tweeted: "DC bound for inauguration! Ready to freeze for huge gathering of truly bad-ass people. Thank you to all of my bosses for letting me go to Washington!"

Meanwhile, Nina was back on set of the vampire show in Atlanta, Georgia, tweeting about work. "Weather is so weird in ATL," she wrote. "One day it's supposed to snow, the next day it's sunny, not a cloud in the sky. Bi-polar weather."

Ian, 34, quickly returned south, tweeting the next day: "Wheels Down Atl. Let the work begin!" while Nina, 24, tweeted a picture of herself on set with co-star Paul Wesley, bundled up against the cold.

The pair spent New Year together in China and earlier this month sparked engagement rumours after Nina was seen wearing a gold ring on her wedding finger at a Christian Dior event in Los Angeles.

But her spokesperson described the claims as "totally untrue" - Nina had a ring-free left hand when she presented an award at the Critics' Choice Awards.

Gemini:

This is a good time to establish a routine. Create a schedule that strikes a nice balance between your personal and professional lives. You're the type of person who needs plenty of intellectual stimulation outside of work. If you've been spending too much time at the office, reduce your hours. This may mean less money, but you can't put a price on happiness. You might even decide to take a job with unconventional hours so you can play sports or spend more time outdoors.More
