Dom Lever among seven hopefuls dumped from Love Island
The tattooed hunk was among the first hopefuls heading to the Mallorcan villa looking for love when the new series of the programme kicked off in June.
Original Love Island contestant Dom Lever was among those dumped in a brutal recoupling on the ITV2 show on Sunday night (02Jul17).
The tattooed hunk was among the first hopefuls heading to the Mallorcan villa looking for love when the new series of the programme kicked off in June. He found love with Jessica Shears, who was voted off from the show in week two and was then rumoured to have slept with fellow evictee Mike Thalassitis.
Since Jess' exit, Dom had been coupled up with pal Montana Brown. But after an influx of new boys, Montana chose to go with her heart and recouple with newbie Alex Beattie - meaning that Dom was dumped from the island.
However, he insisted he was "over the moon" that Montana, who he was first coupled up with on the show, appeared to have found romance after weeks of being unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay's romance came to an end once and for all as they both coupled up with other newbies on Sunday's episode.
The pair had initially been thought to have been one of the strongest on the island, but their romance hit the rocks when Kem admitted he wasn't happy in the pairing. They had been intending to have a discussion about their relationship but didn't get a chance before the boys were told they were going on an outing. They were driven to the nearby "Casa Amor", where six new girls made their entrance.
It was Chyna who caught Kem's eye, with the pair quickly solidifying their romance with a kiss - an image of which was featured on a postcard sent to the original villa.
Talking to Caroline Flack about the picture, Amber explained: "I’m absolutely gutted, I do believe from the postcard that a picture tells a thousand words.”
"The picture was the cherry on top for me and I need to go with myself instead of putting other people before me. I would like to recouple with Nathan."
Camilla Thurlow delighted viewers by pairing up with new boy Craig Lawson, while her former flame Jonny Mitchell recoupled with glamour model Danielle Sellers.
Gabby Douglas stayed coupled with Marcel Somerville while Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes also stayed together.
Newcomers Rob Lipsett, Amelia Peters, Marino Katsouris, Steve Ball, Ellisha-Jade White and Shannen Reilly were all dumped after no-one chose to couple up with them.
