Dominic Cooper loves ladies to buy dinner

Dominic Cooper

Dominic Cooper thinks men should be treated to dinner once in a while so their romance doesn't become "one-sided".

The British actor has revealed the words every man wants to hear from a woman, claiming "dinner's on me tonight" is a great way to impress.

Dominic believes too much pressure is put on guys to indulge their lady, and thinks paying for dinner is an attractive quality in a woman.

"There's still a belief that a man should always pay. But I think it's a very kind gesture when it's the other way around," he explained to Cosmopolitan magazine.

"Nothing should always be one-sided."

Dominic also thinks compliments should be paid in the bedroom. The Hollywood hunk - who is currently in a relationship with Ruth Negga - loves a woman to praise his sexual prowess.

"Saying anything sexy about your intimate time together won't go unnoticed. I don't know any guy who wouldn't love a woman saying, 'You turn me on,'" he revealed.

Dominic thinks it's imperative that his lover gets on well with his family. The 34-year-old star - who formerly dated Amanda Seyfried - is instantly turned off by a woman who disregards his bond with his loved ones.

"I have a good relationship with my parents, so it's important that whoever I'm with likes spending time with them too," he said.
