Dominic West challenges his critics

Dominic West likes to defend himself in online forums

Dominic West has revealed he defends his acting on internet forums, but no one believes it's him.

The John Carter actor told the Radio Times he Googles himself "all the time" and likes to enter into online debates if he finds people are bad mouthing him.

Dominic said: "I like to have chats about myself with people - mainly putting forward the case for the defence in forums. I use my own name but nobody ever believes it's me."

The star of hit US show The Wire and BBC drama The Hour also confessed he was once left star struck when he bumped into Hollywood beauty Jessica Alba.

He said: "I was drunk at a party at the British Embassy in Washington and I was heading to the loo, outside which Jessica Alba was waiting. She was so amazingly beautiful I nearly collapsed on her, though I have to admit I wasn't struck by her talent or fame."

The new edition of the Radio Times is out now.

Taurus:

No matter how stringently your loved ones warn you, that won't stop you pursuing a romantic interest. You're utterly captivated by someone who exudes warmth, charisma and drama. The two of you get along very well, but beware of the financial toll this relationship will take. The object of your affection likes expensive things. If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
