Drew Barrymore has jetted off to Las Vegas to enjoy a weekend getaway after finalising her divorce from Will Kopelman.

The Charlie's Angels star officially regained her single status on Wednesday (03Aug16), less than a month after filing divorce documents, and over the weekend (05-07Aug16), Drew headed to to Sin City with her friends to let her hair down.

"Is this bird going to Vegas? If so yay!!!", the mother-of-two captioned a picture of the group on a private plane on Saturday (06Aug16). "#Vegasbaby #besties #lifelongers #oldschool."

Drew continued to document her mini vacation on Instagram as she and her pals enjoyed a little go-kart racing at Pole Position Raceway, and stopped by David Copperfield's magic show at the MGM Grand Resort & Casino, where they managed to snag a photo with the illusionist backstage.

And it appears Drew and her crew spent Saturday night partying with Jennifer Lopez after checking out her residency show at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Alongside a snap of the two stars posing together, the actress wrote, "#nofilter #goddess #vegasbaby #thishappened @jlo #allihave #amazingmom #loveher (sic)".

The details of Drew's divorce have yet to be revealed, but she and art consultant Will vowed to continue working together to prioritise their two daughters' needs when they announced their separation in a joint statement in April (16).

Drew has since been open about the break-up, revealing it has been a struggle to come to terms with the end of her third marriage.

"When you break up with somebody, you're like, 'Yeah, that didn't work', (but) when you get divorced you're like, 'I'm the biggest failure'," she told U.S. TV host Chelsea Handler in May (16). "It's so shameful and hard to actually go through that, even privately."

The 41-year-old was previously married to bar owner Jeremy Thomas for just weeks in 1994, while her 2001 union to comedian Tom Green lasted just a few months. Their split was finalised in October, 2002.
