Drew Barrymore has reportedly dumped the "baggage" she had with her mother.
The 37-year-old actress and her husband Will Kopelman welcomed baby girl Olive Barrymore Kopelman on September 26.
Drew and her own mom Jaid have had a very tense relationship for decades.
Jaid separated from Drew's father while she was still pregnant with the star and took her to wild parties growing up. It is said that Drew blamed Jaid for being addicted to drugs as a teenager.
Apparently this enmity no longer exists.
"Now that Drew is a mother herself it really has had a huge impact on how she sees her mum," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"She and her mum have always had a very tumultuous relationship, there's a lot of baggage there.
"But having her own child has changed all that. It's totally brought down her walls and made her realise how precious life is. It's made her ready to fix things with her mum once and for all."
