Drew Barrymore treated her neighbours to spa weekends to apologise for the noise caused by her wedding.
The Hollywood star wed Will Kopelman at her estate in Montecito, California, at the beginning of June. There was a lot of interest in the nuptials, with photographers and fans reportedly crowding around to try to get a glimpse of the star.
It meant those living nearby struggled to leave their homes, so Drew took special steps to ensure they knew how grateful she was.
"She sent post-invasion thank-you notes for enduring the madness and the traffic, she gifted five of her closest neighbours with gift certificates for a fabulous, all expenses paid weekend - including spa massage - at a ritzy Santa Barbara hideaway," reports National Enquirer.
Guests including Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth, Jimmy Fallon and Busy Phillips were invited to the nuptials, with Drew wearing a custom-made Karl Lagerfeld wedding gown.
