Drew not racing to shed baby weight
Drew Barrymore has revealed she refuses to put pressure on herself to lose her baby weight.
The Going The Distance actress gave birth to daughter Olive in September but said she isn't going to jump on the "hamster wheel" of trying to shed the pounds too quickly.
She told Good Housekeeping magazine: "I'm still working on it, but I'm not worrying about it.
"We live in a society where everyone's like, 'Look at how amazing she looks two weeks out [from giving birth]'. I don't want to be on that hamster wheel; that's hell. I'm never going to have the kind of body that makes me excited about bikini season. I've never had a 'beach body'. But I want to feel like I'm showing up and doing my best."
She went on: "My goal is to be nice to myself, gentle toward myself, during this process. It's such a sacred time."
Drew, 37, also opened up about her relationship with her husband Will Kopelman, who she married last June, calling him her "North Star".
"Last night, I was looking at my husband like, 'What if he weren't my husband and we hadn't just had a baby and we were just here with a group of people?' I was just having such a crush on him," she said.
