Duchess of Cambridge 'showered with baby gifts'
Britain's Duchess of Cambridge has apparently received a host of baby gifts, including a basket of goodies worth $2,300.
Earlier this week it was revealed that Catherine and her husband Prince William are expecting their first child.
The royal mother-to-be is currently in hospital being treated for severe morning sickness and along with messages from well-wishers, she has reportedly also been receiving luxury gifts.
"We spoke to a rep for Bel Bambini in Beverly Hills... who told us they sent Kate a $2,300 gift basket which included a new Bugaboo Cameleon 3 stroller (worth $978), a Fendi layette set ($265), Dior Booties ($275) and much much more," writes TMZ.
The companies are presumably rallying around Catherine in the hope she will be pictured with the products.
Along with the luxe gift basket, the publication reports the duchess has received "kiddy learning programs from MyTalkingToddler.com... morning sickness relief from a company called One Step Ahead ... and clothes and products from two high end L.A. baby boutiques."
Catherine remains in hospital, but a statement released earlier this week revealed she is feeling "better".
The duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes severe nausea and vomiting and can lead to dehydration and weight loss.
The royal is rumoured to be 12 weeks pregnant and speculation is already rife about the gender and name of the baby.
