Duchess of Cambridge wants ‘perfect family’
Britain's Duchess of Cambridge reportedly wants to give her husband Prince William the daughter he’s always wanted.
The 31-year-old royal gave birth to her first child with Prince William on July 22. Prince George Alexander Louis will apparently become a big brother in the near future.
It is rumoured Catherine is eager to begin having more children as soon as possible.
“Kate has told her close friends that she wants to have three children by the age of 36,” a source told US magazine Star.
“She would love to give William the daughter he wants, and she thinks three children is the perfect family.”
It is claimed that Catherine is committed to giving George as normal an upbringing as possible.
Apparently she has even shirked hiring a nanny to help her take care of her newborn, which goes against royal tradition.
"Carole [Catherine's mother] never hired help at home, apart from a cleaner and the occasional babysitter. It's an alien concept to Kate," a source told British magazine Grazia recently. "When she returns to royal duty, she will need some assistance, but even then it will perhaps be just part-time help."
Although the duchess was initially sceptical about hiring help to care for the baby, she has advertised for a housekeeper, whose duties include some childcare, walking the dog, cooking and cleaning.
For the next few months only immediate family members will be allowed to help out with the prince.
Catherine has apparently realised that she will need a team to relieve the pressures of motherhood as her charity obligations will require her to travel.
