Dustin Lance Black and Tom Daley confirm marriage
Two days after the romantic occasion, both Dustin and Tom took to social media to treat followers to images from their nuptials.
Dustin Lance Black has confirmed he married Tom Daley over the weekend (06-07May17).
The Oscar-winning screenwriter exchanged vows with his Olympic diver fiance at Bovey Castle in Dartmoor National Park, England, on Saturday (06May17).
Two days after the romantic occasion, both Dustin and Tom have taken to social media to treat followers to images from their nuptials.
Dustin, 42, has posted a snap of him holding hands with Tom while standing on a picturesque bridge, captioning the picture: "So... what did you do this weekend?"
Meanwhile, Tom, 22, decided to share a picture of the moment after he and Dustin said "I Do", when they were walking back down the aisle as married men while their guests showered them with confetti.
"On 6th May 2017, I married the love of my life, @dlanceblack We shared the day with 120 of our closest friends and family, from Texarkana to Plymouth! Thank you to everyone who made this weekend the most special weekend of our lives!" he wrote alongside the photo.
The image appeared to reveal that the couple, who started dating in 2013 and got engaged in 2015, had said their vows outside. The newlyweds were dressed in their finest threads for the wedding, with Tom wearing a burgundy suit and Dustin sporting a navy suit and white shirt.
Dustin's family flew in from the U.S. for the nuptials, with he and Tom reportedly hiring out the venue's entire 58-room resort for the weekend.
Just hours before they wed, Tom apparently imitated the character of Juliet from William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, and called out the line, "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?" from a balcony to his soon-to-be husband, according to Britain's Sun on Sunday newspaper.
