Dustin Lance Black weds Tom Daley - report
The Oscar-winning screenwriter reportedly tied the knot with the Olympic diver at a golf resort in England on Saturday (06May17).
Dustin Lance Black has reportedly married Tom Daley in an intimate ceremony.
The Oscar-winning screenwriter exchanged vows with his Olympic diver fiance at Bovey Castle in Dartmoor National Park, England, on Saturday (06May17), according to The Sun on Sunday newspaper.
The couple, who started dating in 2013 and got engaged in 2015, are believed to have tied the knot in front of around 50 guests in a service held inside the castle's Cathedral Room.
Just hours before they wed, Daley apparently imitated the character of Juliet from William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, and called out the line, "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?" from a balcony to his soon-to-be husband.
Black's family flew in from the U.S. for the nuptials, with the couple reportedly hiring out the venue's entire 58-room resort for the weekend.
The newlyweds were dressed in their finest threads for the wedding, with Daley wearing a burgundy suit and Black sporting a navy suit and white shirt.
And the big event comes just days after Daley concerned fans by sharing a photo on his Instagram page which showed him lying in a hospital bed.
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! #AthleteLife Back on the board soon," he captioned the snap, which he posted on Thursday (04May17).
The 22-year-old, who made no reference to what caused his hospital admission, was inundated with supportive messages.
Daley came out to fans in a YouTube video posted in December, 2013, saying his "whole world changed" when he fell in love with a man.
He and Black, 42, revealed their engagement with a traditional wedding announcement in British newspaper The Times in October, 2015.
