Ed Sheeran "was in a state" when he learned he was nominated for a Grammy Award.

The British singer and songwriter's tune The A Team has a Song of the Year nod at next year's ceremony.

Ed partied hard after he heard the news.

"I got kidnapped by The Wanted boys. They took me on their tour bus and I found out after six or seven beers, which for me, I'm a very cheap date. I can't really handle too many beers," he told MTV News.

"So I was in a state anyway and, yeah, I just had loads of giggle fits.

"I had bruises on me and stuff. I didn't know where they'd come from. It was a pretty mental night."

Ed is planning on carrying the Grammy around with him the rest of his life.

He will don the honour on his body.

"I'm gonna get a Grammy tattoo if I win a Grammy," he said.

"I'm gonna get one anyway - a nomination, man, it's the s**t."

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on February 10.

It's time to put plans into action. Don't wait for anyone's permission. Just move forward as if you've been given the green light. Before long, others will recognise the merit of this idea and lend their support. It will be especially helpful to get the approval of an educational leader. Making resources more readily available to the public is a worthwhile mission. You especially enjoy seeing children benefit from your hard work. Thanks to you, they'll have better opportunities for advancement.More
