Eddie Redmayne: Women watch me doze

Eddie Redmayne has to deal with people watching him when he falls asleep on flights.

The British actor is best known for appearing in films such as My Week with Marilyn and musical hit Les Misérables.

Eddie has won plenty of fans thanks to his dapper good looks and shows off his modelling abilities by posing for the Fall 13 style preview of GQ magazine.

Wearing a range of smart suits and a leather jacket, the 31-year-old proves why he has the ladies swooning over him.

"I fell asleep [on a recent flight], and when I woke up the man next to me asked, 'Excuse me, are you someone important?'" he recalled to the magazine.

"I must have looked confused. He explained: 'I'm asking because the stewardesses came over and were watching you sleep.'"

Whereas he might look like a ladies' man, Eddie's characters have been quite the opposite.

In My Week with Marilyn he played a boy infatuated with Marilyn Monroe, while in Les Misérables he had a complicated love affair with Amanda Seyfried's Cosette.

"Maybe, I just seem really unlucky in love?" he mused when asked why he gets cast in these types of role.

Les Misérables saw Eddie exercise his vocal cords and belt out some popular tunes from the musical.

To unwind, co-star Russell Crowe would hold singing parties after work.

"Russell would host these karaoke nights," he revealed.

"One night I sang the most rancidly hideous, ruinous version of Hallelujah, and he nearly tried to stop me."
