Edward Norton: I'm not over-exposed
Edward Norton thinks his Boy Scout uniform had more impact in his latest film as he wasn't on screen "five minutes ago in something else".
The actor is starring in Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom as Scout Master Randy Ward. Edward has appeared in fewer movies over the last few years, and is glad his time away from the spotlight has created more of an entrance for his latest movie role.
"It's better for people to miss you than to have seen too much of you," he told British newspaper The Telegraph.
"It's easier to show up in a Boy Scout uniform in a film and for people to go with it if they weren't looking at you five minutes ago in something else."
Moonrise Kingdom also stars Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and Bruce Willis. The film was shot last summer off the coast of Rhode Island, and Edward had fun during filming.
"It was like summer vacation, and totally great," he gushed.
"I think Wes is like a camp counsellor. When he makes his films, he plans the activities for the day and says: 'This is what we're going to do.' Everyone got into costume at home and did their own hair and make-up.
"It was a bit like being in a summer theatre group."
