Elegant Van Outen keeps top spot

Denise Van Outen wowed the Strictly judges with an 'elegant' quickstep

Denise Van Outen topped the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard for the second week in a row as the glitz and glamour of Hollywood ruled the dancefloor.

The television presenter and actress, 38, channelled her inner child as she and partner James Jordan became toys from children's favourite Toy Story.

Their quickstep received high praise from the judges with Darcey Bussell describing them as "a very elegant couple" and Len Goodman describing the performance as "excellent".

Denise said they "worked so hard this week", before receiving 32 points from the judges - equalling their score from last week.

More Box Office flop than Hollywood star was former soap star Sid Owen, 40, who found himself at the bottom of the leaderboard with 17 points.

He wore a hippie style wig as he became a rock star for the night, doing his best impression of a cast member from West End musical Rock of Ages.

Len and Craig Revel Horwood were critical of his tango with partner Ola Jordan, saying it was "clumpy" and "wasn't sharp enough".

Pop star Kimberley Walsh, 30, took to the floor, fresh from Girls Aloud's tour and album announcement on Friday, to dance a quickstep with partner Pasha Kovalev.

Showing off her toned tummy in a cropped top and full skirt, Walsh received a standing ovation and prompted Bruno to exclaim: "Now we are in business!"

Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, 23, loosened out for some Dirty Dancing with partner Flavia Cacace, as the pair danced a salsa and nailed the classic lift from the 1987 film, while Olympic champion Victoria Pendleton, 31, and Brendan Cole told a love story as they played out the romance of An Officer And A Gentleman.

This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit. Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
