Elizabeth Hurley: Warne is natural

Shane Warne and Elizabeth Hurley

Elizabeth Hurley says her fiancé Shane Warne's appearance is "au naturel".

The model-and-actress has been credited with transforming former Australian cricket star Shane into a slimmer, more fashionable man since they began dating. However, Elizabeth insists Shane was updating his image long before they met - and says he has always had striking features.

"It's strange. I love him looking like that, he was beautiful," she said during an interview for UK TV show Lorraine when shown a photograph of Shane playing cricket several years ago. "He retired from international cricket before I met him, but even before I met him two years ago he was still much bigger because I guess he had been bowling, or whatever he did. But as far as being slimmer, I have to say it's entirely him.

"He has never had any surgery and he is not on a diet. He doesn't wear make-up, God gave him those eyelashes - it's annoying. They are very curly and he pulls them out all the time. For the record he is au naturel - he doesn't get any assistance, especially not from me."

Elizabeth will be attending a series of events in October to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The 47-year-old star is an avid campaigner and appears all over the world to raise awareness.

Elizabeth is particularly looking forward to lighting up a famous building in London this evening, and says Shane was happy to accompany her.

"Tonight we are lighting the British Museum pink, which will be beautiful. It is the first time I have done that particular monument and it's an exciting one for us, because it's my favourite museum," she explained. "I am going to nip into the Egyptology room, which is Shane's favourite part of history, so we are going to have a little look at that."
