Sir Elton John has confirmed that he is on the guestlist for the biggest event of the year - Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.
The singer told Canadian TV that he and his long-term partner David Furnish had received an invite.
When interviewed on CTV's Marilyn Denis Show on Tuesday, the singer told the host "As far as I know, I don't have an invitation", but when pressed he admitted: "Yeah, we do have an invitation".
The star added: "I've been trying to be discreet, yeah, we got an invitation."
Asked if he would be joining the other guests at Westminster Abbey on April 29, he replied: "Yeah, I think we will."
Sir Elton previously said he was not expecting an invite to the wedding despite being a close friend of William's mother Diana, Princess of Wales.
On the 10th anniversary of Diana's death in 2007, the singer opened and closed a Wembley Stadium concert organised by William and his brother Prince Harry in memory of their mother.
But the musician revealed recently that he did not really know the princes.
