Eminem’s pee threat
Eminem has joked about Kanye West's infamous interview with a UK radio DJ.
Hip-hop star Kanye's discussion with BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe went global earlier this year due to the outrageous comments he made in it. He claimed to be the biggest rock star on the planet, suggested he had hit the "glass ceiling" and was the inventor of leather jogging pants.
Eminem has also been interviewed by Zane, with the discussion due to air on Monday evening in the UK.
"I was trying to figure out how I was going to top the publicity of yours and Kanye's interview, so I decided I was going to walk in here, pee on the floor and leave," the rapper says in an excerpt.
"I'm peeing right now… See you guys later."
It's thought Eminem discusses his latest record The Marshall Mathers LP 2 during the interview and he also performs some of his iconic tracks.
It's not the first time the star has commented on Kanye publicly. Kanye famously stormed the stage at the 2009 MTV VMAs when Taylor Swift was handed the best female video prize. He grabbed the microphone and told the crowd the gong should have gone to his friend Beyoncé Knowles instead.
The following year, Eminem slammed the move.
"He shouldn’t have done that,” he told Spin magazine. "I mean, she’s a little girl.”
That same year the rapper admitted he had considered releasing a diss track slamming Kanye. In the end he thought better of it, mostly because the other rapper is so popular Eminem felt it might damage his career.
"It wasn't just, singling Lil Wayne and Kanye West at that time period, they were the ones killing it the most, to me, and it hurt. And it was like, 'F**k man, I'm not doing it good.' I felt like I came really close, for me, it would have been career suicide. I felt like making a song just dissing everybody who's doing it in the game right now. I just had the thoughts, walking around in the studio, I think deep down, I wasn't happy with myself," he told Radio Big Boy.
