Emma Roberts arrested over dispute

Emma Roberts was arrested, although charges were later dropped

Emma Roberts was arrested after an alleged domestic dispute with her boyfriend Evan Peters, it has been revealed.

The 22-year-old Scream 4 actress was arrested in Montreal, Canada earlier this month following a dispute with the 26-year-old American Horror Story actor.

Emma's representative told Entertainment Tonight: "It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it."

The Montreal Police Department declined to release information about the incident. But they did confirm police were called to the couple's hotel room and one party was arrested, although the charges were eventually dropped.

Emma and Evan began dating a year ago, after meeting on set of the satirical comedy Adult World.
