Taylor Lautner has revealed that the final day of filming the last Twilight film, Breaking Dawn - Part Two, was very moving.

The 19-year-old, who is best known for playing werewolf Jacob Black in the Twilight Saga films alongside Robert Pattinson as vampire Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as human Bella Swan, will next be seen in the final instalment in November.

"It's bizarre to think I won't play Jacob Black again. It was an emotional goodbye because it's been such a huge part of our lives and we've all grown extremely close over the past four years," he told Company.

He will continue to keep in contact with his co-stars, however, adding: "It's not goodbye. We're best friends, so we'll definitely stay in touch."

In fact, the actor will be getting some tips from R-Patz about London hotspots: "I'm going to hit up Rob about where I should go. I've heard there are some great restaurants, so I'm really looking forward to trying them."

Taylor - who starred in action thriller Abduction - hopes to have a long-lasting career and diversify into different roles.

"If I'm still acting in 10 years that would be amazing, and I just want to continually challenge myself to do something different," he said.

"If I look at the actors who I've looked up to my entire life - the likes of Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio - they've always played a variety of roles. That's the dream."
