Eva Longoria is "happy" to be remembered for playing Gabrielle Solis on Desperate Housewives.
The 37-year-old actress played the charismatic mother-and-wife on the hit series, which recently ended after eight seasons.
Eva hopes to try her hand at a range of different roles now she's wrapped up filming on the programme, but insists being famed for her role as Gabrielle isn't all bad.
"Since Desperate Housewives finished, I've been looking at roles that are very different to Gabrielle. But I loved playing her and I'm happy if people remember me for that," she explained.
Eva is currently single after splitting from her boyfriend Eduardo Cruz. The beauty is godmother to Victoria Beckham's youngest child Harper, and relishes the idea of starting her own brood one day.
"I would love to be a mother and have a family of my own. I have friends with children, so I know I love spending time with kids. And of course, I'm a godmother to Vic's daughter Harper, who's the most adorable thing ever!" she gushed to British magazine Closer.
