Eva Longoria shocked fans after debuting a drastic cropped haircut on Tuesday.
The former Desperate Housewives star resembled Miley Cyrus when she posed for an online photo with hairstylist Ken Paves.
Eva's mouth is agape in the image as she touches the back of her head.
"You guys like the new hairdo??" she captioned the image on her WhoSay account.
Messages from the star's 4.5 million Twitter followers flooded in.
Fuelling rumours she had chopped off her trademark mahogany locks, she retweeted a photo from Ken showing ringlets of hair on the floor.
"Uh oh! RT @kenpaves: On set with @EvaLongoria !!!! Ooops!!!" the message read.
Eva quickly put worry to rest she had made the bold move and mimicked the pixie cut that has garnered Miley Cyrus so much attention. "Ok I'm kidding, it's a wig!" she mused.
It would comes as little surprise if Eva were to test drive a new look.
The actress is newly-single after splitting with American football star Mark Sanchez last month.
She was first linked to the 26-year-old sportsman in June.
Reports suggested the 37-year-old star decided to end the relationship because she didn't feel their lifestyles were compatible.
