Evan Rachel Wood sorry for being 'rude' to Roberts
Evan Rachel Wood thinks Julia Roberts mistook her for someone else when they danced alongside each other at an Oscars' after party.
The Ides of March actress headed to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party once the Academy Awards wrapped on Sunday night, to party the night away with stars including Lupita Nyong'o, Bradley Cooper and Taylor Swift.
But instead of just letting go and throwing some shapes on the dance floor, Evan became self-conscious when Julia Roberts sidled up for a dance.
Evan took to her Twitter earlier to apologise to Julia for ignoring her invitation to boogie.
"Dear Julia Roberts, I think you tried to dance with me last night but I was convinced you had me confused with someone else and the...
"...moment I danced back you would have realized your mistake leaving me feeling stupid. Now I feel like I made a huge mistake. Please...
"accept this apology. What was I thinking? Sincerely, Evan Rachel Wood. (sic)" Evan posted.
Evan looked stunning in a green Elie Saab gown that fell elegantly to the floor.
She channelled old-school Hollywood glamour for the prestigious event, with her short hair teased into soft curls and a slick of red lipstick finishing the look off.
Evan, 26, is married to British actor Jamie Bell and the couple have a seven-month-old son, whose name they have not yet publically revealed.
The pair are keen for their son to grow up away from the glare of the media spotlight, and are keeping his privacy top of their priory list.
“I haven’t released his name. I’ve done my best to keep his picture from being taken, just because kids don’t really have a choice in the matter," she previously stated.
“It’s such a shame when kids get harassed just because of who their parents are before they’re old enough to decide who they are or who they want to be."
