Evangeline Lilly pregnant

Evangeline Lilly is pregnant, showing off her growing bump at a Los Angeles premiere.

The 35-year-old actress is already mother to four-year-old Kahekili, her son with her partner Norman Kali. She attended the Los Angeles premiere of her eagerly-anticipated superhero flick Ant-Man in Los Angeles last night and surprised by showing off a large baby bump on the red carpet.

The former Lost star was happy to pose for pictures in her monochrome Halston Heritage gown, proudly cradling her growing tummy in her hands so there could be no doubt about her pregnancy.

She chatted about baby number two with reporters, explaining the new arrival is her only real plan for the summer and she doesn’t want to know the tot’s gender.

“I like the surprise. We know too much almost," she told ET. "I went and got an ultrasound recently and it looked like a photograph, like, I could see my child's face!"

While some parents love that, for Evangeline it was a total shock.

“I was like, 'I don't want to know!' It's too much too soon! I don't even know what the gender is, let alone what its facial structure looks like," she laughed.

This marks the first time Evangeline has been seen at a premiere since she launched The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies in December.

She and her family live in Hawaii and work hard to stay out of the spotlight, with the star not giving as many interviews as other famous faces. She did speak to Ocean Drive magazine's January issue though, where she hinted that more children were on the cards.

“What I wanted originally was six kids,” she explained. “I frickin’ love being pregnant. I’m one of the lucky women who just had a blissful pregnancy.”

She added that she and Norman had investigated all avenues when it came to adding to their brood.

“My partner and I have really been through the ringer in the adoption world and it’s hard," she said. "So we’ll see what happens. Life is magically beautiful, and it brings you what is perfect."
