Ex-DJ re-arrested over abuse claims

Chris Denning has been re-arrested over abuse claims

Former Radio 1 DJ Chris Denning has been arrested over further allegations of sexual offences.

Chris was arrested as part of the police investigation sparked by the Jimmy Savile abuse claims.

The 72-year-old was re-arrested at an address in east London today and has been re-bailed until October.

He was originally arrested on June 3 on suspicion of sexual offences and later released on bail.

The claims against him are not linked to disgraced television presenter Savile.

Chris was one of Radio 1's original DJs in the 60s and his shows included a weekly slot as well as filling in for Tony Blackburn on the breakfast programme.

Virgo:

You'll have to make an emotional appeal to your boss. Unless things change, you might have to find another job. You're a very tolerant person, but you can't handle toxic behaviour. A colleague who takes great pleasure in making everyone feel miserable should be reprimanded. Make it clear you aren't the only person who is suffering from their abuse. Explain how this bully is ruining morale. It's a system wide problem that needs to be nipped in the bud.More
