Faris: I want my son to be a scientist!
Anna Faris already has grand career dreams for she and Chris Pratt’s two-year-old toddler Jack.
The 38-year-old comedic actress regularly gushes over her two-year-old son Jack, who she has with husband Chris Pratt. And although the pair have made names for themselves in show business, she’s eager for him to take a different path when he grows up.
“[I] want him to be an environmental scientist,” Anna told People magazine.
With that said, she also knows the toddler is a long way off that yet. The cute tot even slipped up and called another television funnywoman his mother recently.
“[He] did call Amy Poehler ‘Mommy’ the other day,” Anna laughed.
She and Chris welcomed Jack into the world in August of 2012, three years after they got married. And Chris is apparently considering taking the parenting reins on Wednesday evening rather than accompanying his wife to the People’s Choice Awards.
“My son is having eye surgery the next morning, so we’ll see what happens. [Chris] may come, but he may not,” Anna shared with Canada’s Entertainment Tonight.
The Mom star is scheduled to co-host the night’s proceedings, which will take place in Hollywood, California. She’ll be doing so alongside her co-star Allison Janney, with whom she has a close friendship. So close, in fact, that they’ll be each other’s dates on the night.
“You may think that it’s a joke, but I truly do have an obsession with my co-star. I think we’re both feeling really lucky right about now that we get along so well and that we love each other,” Anna smiled.
“I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful child and a great job, an amazing co-star.”
