Felicity Jones' BAFTA champagne celebration
Felicity Jones will be Skyping her family in the UK to celebrate her nomination for a best actress BAFTA.
The nominations for the 2015 British ceremony were announced today and the 31-year-old is mentioned in the best actress category for The Theory of Everything. She appears alongside Eddie Redmayne in the film, portraying Stephen Hawking's ex-wife Jane.
It seems the news was received very well by Felicity.
"I'm looking forward to celebrating with a glass of champagne and Skyping my family," she grinned to MailOnline. "I've been running round my hotel room screaming."
Felicity and Eddie are currently in Los Angeles, where they wait with baited breath for the Golden Globes on Sunday. They're up for best actress and best actor at the prestigious American ceremony.
At the BAFTAs in February, Felicity and her co-star will also be on the edge of their seats as they wait for the winners to be announced. Felicity will battle it out with Reese Witherspoon, Julianne Moore, Amy Adams and Rosamund Pike.
Meanwhile Eddie is up against Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Keaton and Jake Gyllenhaal for best actor.
"I feel very lucky to be in such remarkable company. I've watched those performances and I feel like they're very exciting for women in film because they are all revolutionary performances," Felicity gushed about her competition.
Eddie is just as much of a good sport. When asked about rivalry with his Brit pal Benedict, he insisted there isn't any.
"He's an old friend. We've known each other for about ten years now," he told the BBC.
"He is the most magnificent actor. I've seen Imitation Game and he is brilliant in it."
