Fergie wants to nest with family
Fergie has revealed she wants to spend more time at home and is thinking of starting a family.
The 36-year-old Black Eyed Peas singer, who married Transformers hunk Josh Duhamel in 2009 after five years of dating, told Cosmopolitan magazine she wants to take a break from touring and working with the band to have quality time with her husband.
Fergie said: "I need more balance in my life. I want to be home more, not in hotel rooms recovering from jet-lag and the chaos of touring. I need a break from that. I want to be in my house, decorating!"
She added: "I'm a huge family person and yes, Josh and I want to have children, but I am not pregnant! But we definitely talk about it. That'll be a whole other chapter of our lives and it's going to be so much fun. We're looking forward to it!"
The Meet Me Half Way singer, who has been touring the world with the band for the last three years, admitted she misses her actor husband when they are both away working.
She revealed: "We make sure we don't go for longer than two weeks without seeing each other. Communication is such a big thing. It's the key to a lot of people's problems. They just don't hear what the other person is saying. It's all about listening, then picking your battles.
"We use whatever works in the hotel room! Skype, iChat - whichever one we can get going. And once in a while we're like, 'Forget it, let's just talk on the phone the old-school way'."
The full interview with Fergie is in the September issue of Cosmopolitan UK, which goes on sale on August 8.
