Fey: Cosby jokes are fair game
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler want to make everyone at the Golden Globes feel at ease.
The 44-year-old comedienne has been picked to host the glitzy ceremony alongside her friend Amy Poehler on January 11.
Actor-and-comedian Bill, 77, has been in the headlines recently after at least 17 women, including model Janice Dickinson, accused him of sexually assaulting them decades ago.
Tina is known for her outspoken nature and won't hold back on the night.
"Oh heck yes!" she enthused to Access Hollywood when asked if the audience can expect jokes about Cosby.
This will be the third year running that Tina and Amy have been picked to do the honours. It could be because of their relaxed approach to the event.
"Amy and I have always said that the idea [is] that we don't want anyone attending to be scared to be there because of us. It's a party and it's - in the grand scheme of the world, it couldn't be less important and I think that's what makes it fun," Fey smiled.
She also joked that she and her pal were yet to revise their script for Sunday.
"Amy and I, we'll get together tomorrow? One thing I will say about us: We don't work hard. Always know that about us," she laughed, adding they will fine tune their material until "the last second".
The ceremony will take place in California and see stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Benedict Cumberbatch and Eddie Redmayne battle it out for the top prizes.
