Five Garth Brooks concerts were cancelled in Ireland. Here's how Twitter reacted

Tuesday, 4.45pm. News breaks that all five Garth Brooks concerts at Croke Park, Dublin have been cancelled.

"Blame Dublin City Council, guys"

Journalists rush to make the big announcement

At first, there is denial.

Followed quickly by anger

Ticket holders start bargaining

As does US diplomat Richard Haass (who knew his rates were so cheap?)

Comedian Tim McGarry steps in as international peacekeeper

But frankly, Belfast starts to look a little desperate.

After many Unanswered Prayers, depression sets in.

And as we realise our dreams of seeing Garth at Croke Park

were no More Than A Memory - acceptance.

Erm... no, we don't really get this one either.

But even if we 'Ain't Goin' Down' to Dublin, it will all be OK...

Just keep calm and line dance.
