Frankel to write book about single motherhood
Bethenny Frankel is said to be writing a book about being a single mother.
The reality star has been "writing and documenting" her life and feelings in the beginning stages of her divorce from estranged husband Jason Hoppy.
Radar reports that the tome will be the businesswoman's sixth book and will explore the "struggles and compromises all single moms face."
"It will deal with the delicate balancing act that is being a single mom, and the guilt she feels because her daughter Bryn will now come from a broken home, something she never wanted for her little girl," a source told the website.
Bethenny and her pharmaceutical executive husband announced their separation in December after two years of marriage.
Bethenny is reported to have hired Katie Holmes' divorce lawyer Allan E. Mayefsky to manage her split.
Both Jason and Bethenny have filed for primary custody of their two-year-old daughter Bryn, divorce documents show.
Katie, 34, famously won primary custody of six-year-old Suri in her divorce from Tom Cruise.
"Jason will absolutely not allow Bethenny to make him a part time dad on her terms," a source close to the situation told Radar previously.
"Jason will fight tooth and nail to have an active and meaningful presence in Bryn's life."
Bethenny announced her split from Jason in December following months of speculation about the state of the couple's marriage.
She told Ellen DeGeneres she "felt like a failure" after the split.
"I really put it out there. I wanted the fairy tale," she confessed.
"I thought I had it. And Bryn is my fairy tale."
