X Factor rejects The Risk have revealed they have told party-loving rival Frankie Cocozza to calm down.
The teenager managed to survive the public vote again at the weekend, despite being favourite to get the boot after his performance was panned by judges, while The Risk were axed along with Johnny Robinson in a double eviction.
Risk star Andy Merry said: "Frankie does work hard, but we've said to him: 'You've got a great opportunity here, just calm down a bit.'"
Bandmate Ashford Campbell, 19, added: "He knows when he needs to work and the days he gets off he might go out or he might go and see some friends.
"But most of time he is actually sat researching the song he's doing, trying to perfect the song. He comes to us and asks for advice on the song.
"He balances the work and the play - but at the minute I think he's just enjoying the playing."
The Risk vowed to stay together and pursue their dream of chart success, revealing they looked to former X Factor finalists JLS as inspiration.
Ashford said: "JLS are doing great from the show. We're taking them as inspiration to motivate ourselves.
"They just went out and did loads of gigs, and built up their fanbase even more after leaving the show and I think that's what really worked for them. It kept the fans growing and growing and they eventually got signed."
