Fry is contortionist in Virgin ad

Stephen Fry shows off his physical skills in a new advert

Stephen Fry has apparently swapped mind bending brain teasers for muscle testing martial arts in a new TV ad.

The QI host joins Sir Richard Branson in the new advertising campaign for Virgin Media's TiVo service.

The pair are shown donning oriental robes to perform kung fu kicks and mind boggling physical contortions before Stephen uses the service's new intelligent search function to find "everything kung fuey in the blink of an eye".

The advert will debut on TV on Saturday July 14.

Tech-head Stephen has recently been in Australia filming Peter Jackson's Lord Of The Rings prequel The Hobbit, in which he plays the Master of Lake-town.

The prolific tweeter recently presented Channel 4 show Stephen Fry's 100 Greatest Gadgets.
