Fuller to give BBC radio interviews

Simon Fuller is to give a rare interview to discuss his life and achievements for the festive season on BBC Radio Two.

Hugely wealthy music and media mogul Simon, whose company XIX Entertainment guides the careers of stars such as David Beckham, Sir Bradley Wiggins and Andy Murray, will chat to his long-time friend Nicki Chapman in a trio of programmes.

The first programme on New Year's Day will see him discuss his favourite music and his life in what is said to be his first ever in-depth broadcast interview. It features contributions from Annie Lennox, Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, Cathy Dennis, Will Young and David Beckham.

The interview with the man behind Pop Idol and American Idol, who gave Simon Cowell his TV break, will feature in two further programmes on January 8 and 15.

Nicki, who worked closely with Simon as creative director at his previous company 19 Management, said: " Simon is one of the most intriguing and powerful characters in the entertainment industry, but most people wouldn't know who he is. I've known him for over 20 years and I'm looking forward to finding out exactly what makes him tick."
