Garfield: Emma Stone is exhilarating

Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield thinks his The Amazing Spider-Man co-star Emma Stone is a great time.

Emma plays the leading lady and Spider-Man's love interest in the upcoming Marvel action movie.

British actor Andrew enjoyed being in the company of Emma throughout the entire production.

"Being with Emma was just as fun as swinging through buildings, because it felt like the same amount of exhilaration," he told Entertainment Weekly magazine. "I don't know about chemistry. That's a scientific word and unquantifiable. As soon as you start to define it, it evaporates."

Andrew admits that playing such an iconic character was quite frightening at first.

"With great power comes great responsibility," he said.

Marvel Studios' blockbuster The Avengers has stormed theatres across the world since it's release in early May, breaking box office records.

Andrew hopes that his film will be equally as successful.

"Hell yeah! Absolutely," Andrew gushed. "Are you kidding? That's all I was thinking."

The Amazing Spider-Man will be released in the US on July 3.
