Garfield ‘will write a book about Stone’
Andrew Garfield has opened up about his feelings for girlfriend Emma Stone.
The Amazing Spiderman 2 co-stars have been in a relationship since 2011 but rarely acknowledge it in press interviews. However the 30-year-old actor spoke of his affection for Emma during an appearance on Good Morning America on Monday.
“I will write a book one day about how I feel about every aspect of Emily Stone,” he joked. “She’s a full genius, or she has found her genius and she’s doing it so beautifully.”
Emma, 25, plays Andrew’s love interest Gwen Stacy in the movie franchise. And Andrew believes that anyone who meets his other half will have a wonderful encounter.
“I think everyone who works with her, everyone who brushes shoulders with her or even makes eye contact with her gets a shot of sunshine,” he continued.
The couple are clearly still very much in love, as Emma also uncharacteristically spoke about her feelings for her beau recently. As well as telling her fans not to put off declarations of love, Emma revealed there were many traits in Andrew that drew her to him.
“I like so much about Andrew, I wouldn't even know where to start," she told German magazine Joy. "He's the best-prepared actor I have ever worked with and can completely transform himself for a role. That alone fascinates and inspires me completely. I learn a lot from him!"
While the couple still command a lot of privacy when it comes to details of their relationship, Emma was more willing to discuss the dynamics of their on-screen romance.
“I could relate to that feeling, that all-encompassing, you'll-die-for-this-person first love. I never had an opportunity to fall in love like that in a movie before," she previously told British newspaper The Guardian.
