Gary Barlow lines up solo tour

Gary Barlow has lined up his first solo tour for 13 years with a string of dates beginning next month

Gary Barlow has lined up his first solo tour for 13 years with a string of dates beginning next month.

The Take That star has announced 16 shows, with songs from his entire career, which he will fit around his X Factor commitments.

The shows follow a pair of performances at the Royal Albert Hall in London last year and he will visit the venue again during his In Concert dates, as well as playing two hometown shows in Manchester.

He said: "Playing live is my favourite thing. Last year playing two London shows was brilliant - we all had such a good time - so I thought right let's get out and see the rest of the country."

It will begin at Bournemouth International Centre on November 13, which also featured on his last solo outing in 1999, during his For The Fans tour.

Gary was awarded an OBE in the birthday honours list in the summer, shortly after organising the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert celebrations.

The shows - which include performances at the Manchester Apollo and the city's Bridgewater Hall - will wind up at The Waterfront in Belfast on January 8. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

Taurus:

No matter how stringently your loved ones warn you, that won't stop you pursuing a romantic interest. You're utterly captivated by someone who exudes warmth, charisma and drama. The two of you get along very well, but beware of the financial toll this relationship will take. The object of your affection likes expensive things. If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
