Gemma Arterton has admitted to having a huge crush on Leonardo DiCaprio.

The British actress has admitted to having a crush on the Titanic star since she was in her early teens.

Now, at the age of 27, she would still feel nervous if she came face to face with the handsome star.

“[Would I like to meet him?] Sure! I’d probably drool,” she laughed to British edition of OK! magazine. “He’s an amazing actor. Because I was always into my acting, my crush was always on actors. I wish I hadn’t told you that now, I’m going to get found out – just say that I admire him!”

As well as her acting skills, Gemma is known for her good looks and enviable figure.

It frustrates her when reviews focus on her appearance rather than her performance in movies.

“I never read reviews, but there was one that was out on the table. It was out on the table and they wrote about my bum for practically the whole thing!” she marvelled.

“That was frustrating for me, but that’s what happens and you have to accept it. I guess at least it gets people interested but it’s not just about a bum, it’s about characters and lives.”

The brunette stars alongside Jeremy Renner in action fantasy Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters.

Gemma enjoyed letting her wild side out as her bounty hunter character.

“Yes, I am particularly violent in it!” she laughed.

“But it’s really good. It’s kind of like Tarantino-style Hansel and Gretel. And I play the heroine for once, not just the sidekick.”
